An accomplished marine and wildlife artist, Daniel Holt was the recipient of a Fellowship Grant from the New York City Society of Professional Painters. Frequent donor to the International Gamefishing Association, The University of Texas Law School, Bank of America, Education Service Center Region II, Swantner and Gordon Insurance, Falcon Aviation Insurance of America, mural work for the Texas State Aquarium and his special historical sites series commission for First State Bank have made his work well-known to collectors throughout the Southwest United States.

Daniel considers himself fortunate to have the opportunity to portray life and nature through art. Painting is the passion of his life. He says "he lives to paint, and paints to live". His work also includes marine, wildlife, murals and landscapes.
